**Back by popular demand, on Wednesday 22nd April - we’re hugely excited to be hosting our latest Drink & Do Crafts Night!** Yep, after a bit of a wait - we’ll once again be getting our creative juices flowing and heading to Knightsbridge for an evening of crafts and social drinks, exclusively for 20s and 30s. The theme of the night will be **"Around the World"**, and over the course of the evening, you’ll have the chance to try both painting and pottery. As part of this, we’ll provide paints, brushes, and equipment to help you create your own travel-inspired masterpiece - whether it’s a tropical beach at sunset, a dreamy city skyline, a famous world landmark or a place you’ve been dying to visit. But that's not all, as you’ll also have the chance to try your hand at pottery with air-dry clay. If you've not used it before, air-dry clay is great for trying out sculpting bowls, figurines, or ornaments and unlike normal clay - it doesn't require firing in a kiln and so you can take it home with you. And once the crafting is done and your creations are complete, we’ll clear the tables so you can unwind, grab another drink, and get to know your fellow artists. We hold two pub evenings a month on the first and third Wednesdays, with all the other Wednesdays being virtual pub evenings. We also normally have a monthly quiz on the last Wednesday of the month, during the virtual pub evening, at about 9pm, where a different member of our group prepares the questions to be used each month. This stunning circular hike begins in the vast grounds of Knole Park, just a short walk from Sevenoaks town centre. Spanning over 1,000 acres, this historic medieval deer park dates back to the 15th century and remains one of the best-preserved landscapes of its kind in England. As you wander through, keep an eye out for herds of fallow and sika deer roaming freely, often passing surprisingly close. From here, the route opens out into a rich mix of rolling parkland, ancient woodland, and open countryside. In summer, nearby lavender fields burst into colour and fragrance, adding a distinctly Kentish charm to the experience. Along the way, you’ll enjoy sweeping views across the North Downs, with plenty of scenic spots to pause, take photos, or simply soak it all in. A true highlight of the day is a visit to Ightham Mote, a beautifully preserved 14th-century moated manor house cared for by the National Trust. It feels like stepping into a storybook. **On Friday 24th April, we’re really excited to be heading back to the National Gallery Lates for our latest fast-paced, Photo Scavenger Hunt.** Yep every Friday, one of London’s most iconic galleries stays open late, inviting visitors to explore its treasures after hours. However, rather than simply enjoying the wonders of the art on display, to spice up our visit, we've organised one of our famous Gallery-wide team photo hunts 📸 If you've not been to one of these before, our photo hunts are a unique mix of a fast-paced **Scavenger Hunt** and **Where’s Wally?,** set in one of the world’s most famous galleries. We’ve curated a fresh selection of intriguing background characters, unusual objects and eye-catching snippets in the paintings across the gallery. And your team’s mission is to **locate as many of them as you can** within 90 minutes 🕵️ You’ll be armed with photo clues to help you find them, but they are designed to be easy to miss - so you’ll need to keep your wits about you and your eyes peeled. It's a traditional English sport for everyone, even the unsporty. Your team will be either fielding or batting before swapping after the innings. When batting, the aim is to hit the ball, then try and run around the four posts. Your team gets a rounder if you make it round the four posts without stopping or getting out. You are out if when you hit the ball someone catches the ball before it reaches the ground or someone stumps a post before you get there. The rules will be explained at the beginning of each meetup with a practice round at the beginning. We play a slightly modified version of the official rules where if you are out, it's not game over for you. Your team will lose a life instead. This will give everyone multiple opportunities to bat. **It's very simple to pick up and the ball we use is very soft. We are very beginner friendly and the focus is on having fun rather than being competitive**. We attract attendees of all ages and sporting level. You are welcome to come and watch only too. We’re bringing back Adult Field Day. Last year was a good mix of competition and just hanging out, so we’re doing it again with some new games mixed in. Think team-based challenges, simple races, and a few things inspired by game shows. You don’t need to be athletic. Most of the fun is just being part of a team and getting to know people you wouldn’t normally talk to. The goal isn’t really winning. It’s meeting people, laughing a bit, and leaving knowing a few more names than when you showed up. If you stick around after, we’ll have a potluck, a bonfire, and a couple comedians in the evening.
