Vegan Pot Luck Thanksgiving Dinner with Games

Hi everyone, please read the entire event description before RSVPing so you can be aware of all the rules and details!

Come and join us on Nov 28th for a pot luck thanksgiving dinner! Bring your star (vegan) dishes or drinks to share with everyone! To make sure everyone can enjoy what you bring, please make sure your food and/or drinks don't contain any animal products.

The venue is at Mullae Go Academy, which belongs to one of our members! To fit that theme, we will play Go and other board games and card games. Consider bringing your own board games, card games, or Switch games/controllers!

This event is free, but you must bring food or drinks! You can cook something, buy food from the store, order takeout, or bring drinks and chasers. Please make sure to have enough portions for a party. This is a dinner, so avoid bringing only snacks. The venue also has a mini fridge and microwave.

If you would like to join but cannot bring any food, please contact the organizers, and we'll think of another way you can contribute!

**Please please please make sure what you bring is free of animal harm. That includes milk, butter, eggs, or any animal "byproduct". We will not accept anything that involves animal cruelty. You can also check https://www.barnivore.com/ to see if your alcohol is vegan. When in doubt, look it up!**

📋RULES

1. Be polite and respectful.
2. Our group promotes ethical treatment of all animals so PLEASE don't bring in animal-derived foods/products.
3. Observe boundaries. Don't make others uncomfortable.
4. Don't be a no-show. You prevent others from joining the event if there is a waiting list. Two no-shows will get you banned from the group. Last minute cancelations are counted as no-shows.
   If anyone breaks these rules, please talk to Zack, Robyn, or V (hosts). These meetups are meant to be safe, inclusive, and comfortable.

🌿 If you love animals, want to act better for the environment, or are simply curious about veganism, feel free to join us! You don't need to be vegan to participate. You're welcome to bring friends, but please specify in your RSVP! Hope to see you there!
