Disaster Survival - Test Your Survival Skills

Details

We know that this event is announced at short notice, but the need to survive outdoors after an accident or disaster can happen at any time. That's why we have decided to go into this weekend relatively spontaneously and without much effort.
We will all share any survival skills/knowledge, improve our material, try out new material, exchange ideas, set daily goals, discuss around the campfire, and celebrate friendship and camaraderie.

  • Everyone looks after themselves and brings their own material, namely food, drinks (e.g. tea, coffee), fire tools, cooking utensils, cutlery, and if staying overnight, a cover/shelter such as tarp or if you really need it a tent, and a sleeping system.
  • The goal is to spend the 1 or 2 nights without a tent or modern equipment and mainly use what nature offers in such an emergency. Ideally, we will take as little material as possible. The goal is to get along with a minimal backpack or "Bug Out Bag".
  • Of course, the food you bring for yourselves should be plentiful, because nature won't give us a full plate during these days and a little cheating is ok.

Drinking water is available from a spring (1 km walk), or a closer water source from a stream but the water has to be filtered, other than that… ? NADA

And of course, it costs nothing.

You can arrive on Friday or on Saturday, as you wish, we will be happy to pick you up, but be on time.
It is very simple, be at the station Baden, in front of the Starbucks at 08.30 at the latest, we will return to the camp at 08.40, period.

See you soon,

Claudio and Malcolm
