Tokyo Photowalk [22]: Hatchobori->Toyosu

Are you a tourist visiting the impossible immense convoluted metropolis of Tokyo; a local eager to explore unknown neighborhoods and capture their beauty on your film or digital camera; or a person seeking to find like-minded people passionate about photography? Then join the 22nd session of the Tokyo Photowalks. We slowly walk the streets, chatting and shooting photos of buildings, old people portraits, or strangely attractive mundane objects.

[IMPORTANT]: If you decide not to come to the event, please update your RSVP as soon as possible!

For this session, we will meet at the Hatchobori station (Hibiya or Keiyo lines) and first walk towards the Chuo-Ohashi bridge for a spectacular view of the Sky Tree and high-rise condominiums. Crossing to the Tsukushima we will explore narrows streets around the Monja Street and then cross another bridge to Harumi. Then we will walk towards the former Olympic village to see the Rainbow Bridge and trace back our steps to cross yet another bridge (Harumioohashi) to get to Toyosu. We will finish the event next to the Yurikamome Toyosu station. (Please see the route below)

It is a relaxed event, so shooting on anything (DSLR, phone, polaroid) or even just walking and chatting is absolutely okay! Everyone is welcome.

A: Yes, level of skill does not matter!
Q: Is it okay to shoot on a smartphone or film camera?
A: Yes, feel free to shoot on anything you want, or just chat with people.
Q: It is raining, and the weather forecast looks bad, are you still doing the event?
A: Unless Mt. Fuji is erupting or it is raining sharks, the event will happen.
