Talks
1) Evolution of Event-based APIs at Picnic
This session examines the evolution of event-driven APIs in Picnic's Warehouse Systems domain, highlighting the organizational and technical challenges that emerged as the system grew from one monolith to dozen of microservices. We'll discuss the signals that drove architectural decisions, the solutions implemented at each phase, current challenges and next steps.
2) From API first to Agentic AI
How API First is laying the foundations for agentic AI. Learn best practises tools and techniques to ensure your organisation is ready for the adoption of agentic AI.
In this session Kong will share its opinion on how a structured approach to APIs is the foundational bedrock for agentic AI adoption and success in an organisation.
3) Building Agentic AI Applications with Spring AI and Model Context Protocol
Modern AI applications require more than simple API calls—they need agents that interact meaningfully with real-world systems. This talk demonstrates the evolution from basic LLM integration to agentic applications using Spring AI and the Model Context Protocol (MCP), creating systems that seamlessly interact with web services, file systems, and business tools. Through live coding examples, you'll learn how Spring AI simplifies building and integrating MCP-enabled agents.
