👋Join us in our first in-person hands-on workshop in Bengaluru as we learn about Service Mesh and Kong's open source implementation - Kuma. As usual, we'll have some great networking opportunities, swag and some tasty snacks!
🤔Kuma is an open source multi-zone service mesh for containers, Kubernetes and VMs. It is built with Envoy as a proxy and is a CNCF Sandbox project. During the workshop, we'll introduce the concept of service mesh and help you get started with Kuma in a hands-on practical session. The workshop is intended for people with various experiences and backgrounds but are new to Kuma and the world of service meshes.

- Basic understanding of microservices and Kubernetes.
- Laptop with ability to run local Kubernetes cluster, if necessary.
- If using Windows, a Linux VM or WSL is recommended for running commands locally.
- A web browser.

❗Please try to be at the event venue at 4pm so that we can start the event as soon as possible and wrap up on time. Delay in arrival might result in not being able to cover all topics as intended.
👮♂️Message from security
Visitors are allowed in stage-6 and entry facilitation is subjected to verification of Govt. ID proof and visitors entering Microsoft India worksites are required to be fully vaccinated. As events are on weekdays so 4 wheeler parking is not available but can manage 40 to 50 2 wheeler parking subject to availability.
Kindly take note of the following Visitor Procedures:
- Visitors are requested to park their vehicles only at designated parking area directed by security.
- All visitors need to obtain “Visitors Badge” at respective building reception and need to be escorted throughout their stay in Microsoft premises.
- Visitors should return the temporary visitor pass to the receptionist at the end of their visit.
- Visitors must abide by the "No Photography" & "No Smoking" policies on Microsoft premises. (Only at Reactor space visitors are allowed photography)
