1) How to Govern Generative AI with Kong
OpenAI’s uncontrolled adoption is also running AI adoption in the Enterprise. If typically, is a best practice apply rigorous governance practices when consuming, or making APIs consumable, in the case of AI APIs, it is a must have. We will show examples of how Kong can help make OpenAI API interactions more secure, reliable, and observable.

2) Exposing Services with the Kubernetes Gateway API
The Gateway API is the next generation of the Ingress API, one of the most widely used resources across Kubernetes. We will explore the rich set of features provided by this API and deep dive into a demo-oriented talk where we will learn how to expose applications outside the cluster boundaries. We will leverage the Kong Gateway Operator to deploy the controlplane (Kong Ingress Controller) and dataplane (Kong), then, with the help of the Gateway API, expose services outside the cluster boundaries and perform traffic splitting and load balancing based on different rules.

Mattia is a software engineer at Kong, working on Kubernetes networking. He is an active contributor to the Gateway API and is working on many Kong projects related to networking in Kubernetes, among which are the Ingress controller and the Gateway Operator.
