If you're looking for the easiest event to join on Meetup, you just found it! Join our free social walking tours and explore the Helsinki region with a local. On these 100% unofficial tours, we visit lesser-known, less touristy places for a fresh perspective.
Our walk takes place on Saturdays at 12 o'clock, weather permitting. The tours typically last around 60 to 120 minutes. Afterward, we can join one of the nearby cafés for socializing.
This event is for everyone! Whether you're a tourist, new to the city, or a local who wants to come along for a leisurely walk, you're warmly welcome. See you there!

Along the Vantaa River from Pukinmäki to Arabianranta

How to get there: For example, you can take the I or K train from Helsinki Central Railway Station.
Since the city of Helsinki was founded by King Gustav Vasa of Sweden almost half a millennium ago, the Vantaa River has flowed through the city.
This week, we'll follow the river downstream all the way to the beautiful Arabianranta region. Along the way, we'll visit the exact place where Helsinki was founded in 1550.
