Get Your To-Do List & Mending Done in the Park!!!

Do you have tasks piling up but can't seem to buckle down and knock them out?? Me too! I need some accountability and I am always down to meet new people! .... and if SB sunshine is involved?... SOLD!

Let's meet at LA MESA PARK (near Lazy Acres) and finally dive into those tasks while sharing supplies*, making new friends, eating delicious snacks*, sunbathing, or even taking a nap!

IDEAS:

• Write thank you cards (I will bring tons we can share - FREE!)
• Write letters
• Catch up on email / texts
• Create a budget
• Learn a new app
• Mend clothing (missing buttons, holes & tears)
• Polish shoes (I'll provide)
• Whiten shoes (I'll provide)
• Clean & condition your leather (I'll provide)
• Trim the fuzz off sweaters / clothing (I'll provide electric shaver tool)
• Finish a paper
• Do your taxes
• Knit
• Meditate with earbuds
• Research stuff
• Etc.

I WILL SUPPLY:

• Thank you cards
• Plain printer paper
• Pens
• Mending kit with thread, sewing needles, scissors (no extra buttons though)
• Leather conditioner
• White shoe paint
• Sweater trimmer
• Jewelry sealant. Protects from finish wear and protects skin (I’ll supply sealant)

YOU BRING:

• Snacks & beverages for yourself - or to share
• Your project(s)
• Buttons (if you are mending stuff)
• Stamps (if you are writing cards/letters)
• Laptop if needed
• Power bank or charger with USB if needed
• Jewelry you want to sea

Sunscreen / Hat / Sunglasses (I am bringing my bathing suit for a tan)

• Beach blanket / beach chair / seat cushion / little umbrella

Lighthouse Coffee and Lazy Acres are walkable if we get hot and want to move indoors. Sunday calls for sunny and 76 degrees. Woo hoo! Maybe stop for Blenders in the Grass smoothies!
