Guided TARANTULA HIKE + Classic Car Show + BBQ Dinner

In the fall, the normally nocturnal male TARANTULAS come out during the late afternoon looking for dance partners. Kooky Adventures wants to introduce you! A 2hr walk & talk is hosted by the folks at Restoration Oaks Ranch in Buellton is for all ages! We will catch a live wild spider, discuss it, let it do some spider-walking on our hands (for those who dare...), then let it loose into the wild again. If we are lucky, we will see pairs of tarantulas courting!

.... But first it is the FREE annual CLASSIC CAR SHOW in Solvang!

🇩🇰 Downtown Solvang, famous as the "Danish capital of America", will be transformed into a classic car (and motorcycle) mecca as more than 200 pre-2000 impeccably restored, stock and customized vehicles of every make, model and type including hot rods, sports cars, muscle cars, vans, pickups, trucks, motorcycles, and other special interest vehicles fill the streets. Omg, they had me at "vans" 😂

(One of our Adventurers is actually a judge for the car show!) 🏆

Music throughout the day, a beer and wine garden, a Viking food bar.
All money raised goes to the Vikings of Solvang Endowment Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization. 🕊️

Lastly, we will cap the day with DINNER at AJ Spurs Saloon. Yeeee-haw! 🤠 🐄 🍖 🔥

Yep, the usual Kook Out is a mish mosh of polarizing flavors + education. If people don't either love the ideas or are kinda off-put, I'm not Kooking Out properly.

Question: What's one of the great things about Kooky Adventures (other than the fact that it is a place to practice radical AUTHENTICITY and unapologetic SELF-CARE - yes, you will LITERALLY get a LITTLE GIFT from your host each time you self-care by asking for what you need or setting a boundary.…like suddenly getting up and saying, "I’m tired. This will be a long-haul day, so you may wanna bring a day-pack, water, SNACKS, and careful not to get roped into a carpool if you might suddenly turn into an energy-pumpkin. Introverts, do ya feel me??? As much as I adore you guys and these adventures, I have to rest for 2 full days after these events.

This is widest gamut of different Adventures in one day we’ve done so far!! The LA Train Adventure was a close 2nd. Can't wait!
