Think sobriety is a drag? Au contraire! Kooky Adventures is joining forces with Discovery Recovery to host a MIND BLOWINGLY FUN sober pizza crawl and taste-test-competition of 3 pizza joints in Isla Vista! We will present a trophy to the winning pizzeria 🍕 🏆

Let's dress Italian with striped shirts and fake mustaches (provided by Discovery Recovery) and cause sober mayhem hopping from one pizzeria to another. What better place to prove sobriety is not only possible - but FUN ! than in a college town known for its booze consumption?!

Discovery Recovery is a non profit project that is close to my heart, and I am committed to furthering their cause. Their 501(c)(3) status is provided by their fiscal sponsor, The Santa Barbara Foundation.

Based in Santa Barbara, it was created to support individuals in early recovery by offering healthy, meaningful, and substance-free activities. These activities are designed to help people asking themselves, "Can I have fun in life without using drugs and alcohol?"
