Join Us for Kimjang (김장) – A Korean Kimchi-Making Experience!

Discover the joy of kimjang (김장), the traditional Korean practice of gathering together to prepare kimchi for the winter, with the Naperville Korean English Conversation group. Whether you’re new to Korean food or already a fan, this hands-on cultural event is a chance to learn, share, and taste something truly special.

👥 Space is limited to 15 participants
✨ Your $25 registration includes:

• The full kimjang experience – make kimchi in a fun, group setting. Everyone will help prepare the ingredients.
• 2 lbs (approx) of traditional Tongbaechu-kimchi (통배추김치) to take home
• A delicious Korean bossam (보삼) and banchan (반찬) lunch
• Cultural exposure and community connection
• No prior experience required – just bring your curiosity (and an apron or old shirt)!

⚠️ Allergen Notice: Traditional kimchi is made with fish sauce and salted shrimp. Please be aware that shellfish and seafood are present in the recipe.
