Location
We meet monthly at Hanjan, a Korean bar in New Maldon.
There will be a small sign on our table saying "Meetup", so you can find us.

There’s always a friendly mix of regulars and newcomers - everyone is welcome.

Feel free to come and go whenever you like, but please remember to RSVP if you plan to join.

​Join us for a fun afternoon picnic this bank holiday - with tasty snacks and great conversations!

​We’ll be gathering under the Shakespeare Oak at Primrose Hill.

What to Bring
​To make this a great communal vibe, we encourage you to bring either a drink or snack to share.

​While any food is welcome, it would be great to see some Korean or Japanese inspired treats!
E.g. Kimbap, Onigiri, Mochi... 🍙🥢

​If you can bring a picnic blanket, or anything else that might be useful at a picnic, that would be really helpful.

Unfortunately BBQ's are not allowed in the park.

​Who Can Join?
​Everyone with an interest in Korean & Japanese culture is welcome.

​Our events have a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. There's usually a mix of newcomers and regulars who will make you feel welcome.

Fingers crossed for good weather, but if it looks like it's going to rain heavily we'll head over to a nearby pub. I'll leave a comment here if we decide to move.

​Waitlist Policy
​Seating is limited, so if you're on the wait list, please arrive after 3:30 PM, when the cafe gets a bit quieter.
