This meetup is a relaxed and beginner-friendly space where anyone can experience the beauty of traditional Korean writing. You don’t need any prior experience—just curiosity and an open mind.
Whether you're interested in Korean culture or simply looking for a calm and creative activity, this is a great chance to slow down and enjoy something meaningful.

### What is Korean Calligraphy?

Korean calligraphy, also known as Seoye (서예), is the art of writing Korean characters using a brush and ink.
It’s not just about handwriting—it’s about expressing rhythm, balance, and emotion through each stroke. Traditionally, calligraphy has been an important part of Korean culture, reflecting both artistic expression and mindfulness.
In this session, we’ll explore simple techniques and try writing basic Korean words or phrases together.

### What We’ll Do

  • Learn basic brush techniques
  • Practice simple Korean characters (Hangul)
  • Freely create your own calligraphy piece
  • Relax, chat, and enjoy a calm atmosphere together

### Who Can Join

  • Anyone interested in Korean culture
  • Beginners (no experience needed at all!)
  • People who enjoy creative or relaxing activities
  • All levels are welcome—skill level does NOT matter

### Materials

No need to bring anything!
All calligraphy materials (brush, ink, paper, etc.) will be fully prepared by the host.
Just come as you are and enjoy the experience.
