Depends on the Context! by Aleksei Semin
Is four a lot? In this talk, we will look at Context Receivers -- a feature prototype in the Kotlin language. We will explore the expected and unexpected use cases as well as some pitfalls when using the feature. Context Receivers could be an exciting new addition to your Kotlin toolbox.
Enabling recomposition for App widgets by Marcel Pintó Biescas
Jetpack Glance is the new way to build Android App Widgets and other glanceable surfaces with Kotlin and Compose style code. We recently implemented recomposition support, enabling support for remember, side-effects and lambda callbacks making it even easier to build great Android App Widgets. In this session I will cover some of the concepts and do a live-demo of the new mechanism.
