Main Topic:
GraalVM is a high-performance JDK distribution written for Java and other JVM languages developed by Oracle. Its main benefit is to help us with one of the most tedious things in the JVM universe: startup times.
Dominik will introduce us to GraalVM. He informs about the advantages and disadvantages of GraalVM compared to other JVMs. Some major use-cases and integrations in our existing ecosystem frameworks will be presented, of course mostly using Kotlin.
So be curious and look forward to this exciting lecture!

Speaker Bio:
Dominik Moser studied Software Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology. He worked as tutor and later as assistant lecturer on courses like "Software Engineering and Pro-ject Management” and “Quality Software Engineering”. For the last five years he has been working as Backend Chapter lead and Architect for Erste Group creating one of Europe’s leading online banking solutions named George.
