Details

Escape to the heart of the Peak District for a weekend of adventure and natural beauty!

Discover the charm of England’s oldest national park as we explore its breathtaking landscapes and rich history.
The Peak District, established as the UK’s first national park, is celebrated for its rolling hills, dramatic limestone dales, and rugged gritstone edges. This diverse landscape is dotted with picturesque villages, ancient landmarks, and winding trails that make it a walker’s paradise. From towering rock formations and lush woodlands to peaceful river valleys, the region offers something for every nature lover.

Over the weekend, you’ll experience the very best of this iconic national park, with scenic walks, fascinating local history, and opportunities to unwind in one of England’s most beautiful regions

Weekend Itinerary:

Day 1: Thor's Cave
We begin with a hike to Thor’s Cave, a dramatic limestone cavern perched above the Manifold Valley. The cave offers stunning views over the valley, and its unique formation makes it an exciting spot to explore and photograph.

Day 2: Lud's Church and The Roaches
This day features a hike to Lud’s Church, a deep, moss-covered chasm steeped in local legend. We’ll then continue to The Roaches, an impressive gritstone ridge with sweeping views over the Staffordshire countryside. This route combines natural beauty with an air of mystery.

Day 3: Three Shires Head
Our final hike takes us to Three Shires Head, a picturesque location where the counties of Cheshire, Derbyshire, and Staffordshire meet. The area is known for its charming packhorse bridges and peaceful pools, offering a scenic and relaxing end to our adventure.

Group Size: 6-8 people

Accommodation: Our base for the weekend is a beautiful Edwardian house B&B in Buxton, a historic spa town renowned for its Georgian and Victorian architecture, thermal springs, and vibrant culture. The accommodation features a mixture of rooms, perfect for couples or single occupancy at an extra charge.
If you’re happy to share a twin room, you’ll pay the standard price; if you prefer a room for yourself, please email **info@kozatrails.co.uk** to enquire before booking.

Breakfast is included, while lunches can be purchased from local shops, and in the evenings, we will explore the town and enjoy dinner at one of its charming pubs or restaurants.
