In our Krishna West meetings, we share the spiritual science of Bhakti-Yoga, devotion to Krishna, or God, found in the Sanskrit ancient texts such as the Bhagavad Gita and the Srimad-Bhagavatam. In every meeting, we first do kirtan, chanting of mantras, read a selected verse from one of these scriptures, and discuss its meaning. Questions and comments are welcome. If you are a seeker of the truth don’t hesitate to join us, and start the most profound and meaningful journey of your life.

Ancient texts, like Bhagavad-Gita and Shrimad Bhagavatam, have information that material nature works in three modes or qualities: ignorance, passion, and goodness. When we, the eternal spiritual soul, come in contact with material nature, we become conditioned by these three modes. Through the simple method of Bhakti-Yoga, we can be elevated to the state of pure goodness, which will remove us, once and for all, from the conditioned state of life.
