What we’re about

Join the Kristof Farms community book club (KF Book Club) where we come together each month to discuss a good read over sips of our favorite wines and ciders.

We know the usual wine and cider pairings are cheese, tapas, charcuterie, and chocolate - and we love all of those options - but as a winery and cidery with two Pulitzer Prize winning journalists at the helm, we can't help but think the best pairing is actually a good book!

We announce our monthly books at the start of each month on our Instagram page (@kristoffarms) and will also announce the upcoming month's book at our monthly meet-ups (starting in August). We encourage you to follow along online or join us for our in-person meet-ups at different venues throughout Portland where we'll come together to discuss each month's book, create a fun community, and of course sip on cider and wine!

Pages & Pairings: A Literary Tasting with Chef and Author Kathy Watson

Join us for a very special evening of food, wine, and literary conversation as we welcome author Kathy Watson to KF Book Club for an intimate dinner and discussion of her debut novel, Orphans of the Living.

Hosted at the cozy and elegant Stem Wine Bar on Mississippi Ave, this event features a three-course seasonal tasting menu (vegetarian-friendly and prepared by Kathy Watson herself), expertly paired with Kristof Wine and Cider. You'll enjoy a tasting flight, a short reading from the author, a Q&A, and the chance to get your book signed. Books and bottles will be available for purchase onsite.

This is a limited-seat event designed to nourish the mind, palate, and community spirit, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Tickets are $50 and include the full tasting menu, one welcome taste from Kristof Farms, and event access. Books will be available for purchase at the event, and wine/cider will be available for purchase as a flight, by the glass or bottle.
