### Do You Think You Know Mozart?

An informal listening evening at my home in Bangsar, near Sri Wangsaria.
Places are limited to 10 people.

Mozart is often thought of as elegant, polite, and familiar. This evening looks at some less predictable sides of him: wit, mischief, emotional darkness, and quiet daring.

We will listen to short excerpts rather than full works, mixing well-known and less familiar pieces, including:

• a little opera (likely Figaro or Don Giovanni),
• a piano sonata,
• and excerpts from several piano concertos.

We will finish with a relaxed vote for the best Mozart piano concerto. If you are not familiar with the concertos, no problem at all. Suggestions are welcome.
