About Speaker 1:
Ryan Voon is an experienced software developer, middleware consultant and architect. He brings over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and comes from software development and architecture background. Prior to his current role in Confluent, he served as Middleware Specialist Solution Architect and Middleware Consultant at Red Hat. He is passionate about cloud native application development, integration and automation in open source technologies. He has a strong background in architecting and implementing end-to-end Kafka solutions. Adept in translating complex business needs into robust, scalable, and fault-tolerant Kafka ecosystems to deliver real-time data stream processing and integration for diverse systems.
