Opening Reception by Malaysian Artist Mel Ding

Details
Tannin Hill is excited to announce our exhibition featuring Malaysian Mel Ding. A multidisciplinary artist who primarily uses textile and drawing, she explores themes of coming of age and loss of innocence through storytelling, addressing complex topics with empathy.
Titled "Apostussy," the exhibition examines the absurdity of the events leading to the "Fall of Man" and their consequences, including endless toil, childbirth pain, and the rise of patriarchy—issues still relevant today. The playful, vibrant works contrast with the serious messages the artist conveys.
