Meet and Greet Author Uma Rajasingam

Uma Rajasingam is the author of Disorientation, a sci-fi/ fantasy novel about a psychiatrist who encounters a form of “time travel” into the ancient past. She writes under the pseudonym VJ Singam. Disorientation is the first book of the Seer’s Return duology, available on Amazon. A second novel, called Lucidity, is in the works and will follow soon. Uma also has 2 short stories and articles published in Asian Extracts, a regional magazine featuring stories and articles from all over Asia. One of these stories received an honorable mention in the Writer's Digest Popular Fiction Awards 2020 contest.

Uma is a counselor by profession and graduated with a Master’s in Counselling from University of Malaya. She has spent more than a decade teaching Behavioral Science to medical students at a local private university. She received her basic degree, a B.Sc in Botany, from the University of Madras in India.
