About Talk:
With the sharp rise of real-time data, the need for data governance in Businesses is growing quickly. As investments into Microservices increase and data sources scale, it becomes more and more challenging to understand and govern the full scope of data streams flowing across the business units.
In this meet-up, the role of the Schema Registry in Stream Governance will be explored. The fundamentals of Schema Registry and the best practices to integrate with Microservices will be covered. After this meetup, participants will begin their stream governance journey with Schema Registry.

About Speaker:
Hendra Sutanto is Senior Solutions Engineer at Confluent. As a key technical advisor for Confluent customers, he leads the technical evaluation for the overall sales process, including technical design and end to end development. Hendra helps customers create a central nervous system to innovate and win in a digital-first world by using a fundamentally new category of data infrastructure centred around data in motion. He also worked at Red Hat and responsible for helping customers accelerate their digital transformation journey by leveraging the next-generation cloud native and container technologies.
