From Stream to Insights: Building Real-Time Analytics with Apache Doris and Kafka

Abstract:
Real-time data is the backbone of modern businesses, but bridging the gap between streaming pipelines and fast analytics remains a challenge. In this talk, Matt will explore how Apache Doris, a high-performance real-time analytical database, integrates seamlessly with Kafka to deliver end-to-end real-time insights. We'll cover the native Kafka consumption and real-time update capabilities of Apache Doris. Join us to learn how to build a truly unified and low-latency data stack for modern analytics!

Bio:
Matt Yi is an Apache Doris PMC member and Tech VP at VeloDB, the commercial supporter of Apache Doris. He has been deeply involved in the development of the Apache Doris project, leading and contributing to numerous core features. His work has driven significant performance enhancements and optimizations, enabling Apache Doris to excel across diverse application scenarios. With over a decade of engineering experience, Matt is also a seasoned development engineer who has previously held roles at Microsoft and other global tech leaders.
