About us
Come play with other adults in north London in St Pancras Gardens, very near St Pancras international train station, or in Folkestone, Kent at Radnor Park, very near Folkestone Central train station.
You don't need to have ever played croquet or kubb before as we will teach you and there is no cost involved, although donations to our equipment fund are always welcomed.
We don't wear white and feel free to play with a drink in your hand if you wish. The condition of our lawn is variable depending on grass cutting in the park and ground levels. Level of play can also be variable depending on your sobriety...
We play golf croquet in pairs, with the first team that scores 4 hoops being declared the winner. This short video explains the rules: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvkQ6UBOkRM
If you want to play croquet on a flat lawn and train to be a pro, we go play at Enfield Croquet Club here http://www.enfieldcroquet.org
We play kubb in singles or teams and the rules of how to play can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffJB_31TS_8
Croquet and kubb are for people of all abilities and is great way to be outdoors and meet new people.
Afterwards we will often go for a drink at a nearby pub.
Our listing at Croquet England can be found here: https://www.croquet.org.uk/?p=games/clubs/details&DbEntityID=74619
We hope to see you very soon!
