Welcome to the Outdoor Lovers Kubb Meetup Group!
Kubb is a fun and strategic lawn game where teams take turns throwing wooden batons to knock down their opponent’s blocks (called kubbs), and finally the king. It’s easy to learn, great for all ages, and perfect for anyone who enjoys being outside.
Join us for friendly games of Kubb—also known as Viking chess—at our casual outdoor meetups. Whether you're experienced or trying it for the first time, everyone is welcome. It’s a great way to enjoy the fresh air, meet new people, and have some lighthearted competition.
We can host 2 games at the same time, with 4 teams of up to 6 people—24 players in total.

Meetups are held once or twice a month (weather permitting), on Saturday or Sunday afternoons.

Willkommen bei der Outdoor Lovers Kubb Meetup Gruppe!
Kubb ist ein unterhaltsames und strategisches Wurfspiel, bei dem Teams abwechselnd Holzstäbe werfen, um die Klötze (Kubbs) des gegnerischen Teams und am Ende den König umzustoßen. Das Spiel ist leicht zu lernen, für alle Altersgruppen geeignet und ideal für alle, die gerne draußen aktiv sind.
Macht mit bei unseren entspannten Kubb-Treffen im Freien – auch bekannt als „Wikingerschach“. Egal ob du schon Erfahrung hast oder zum ersten Mal spielst – bei uns ist jede*r willkommen! Es ist eine tolle Möglichkeit, frische Luft zu genießen, neue Leute kennenzulernen und dabei gemeinsam Spaß zu haben.
Wir können 2 Spiele gleichzeitig spielen – mit 4 Teams à maximal 6 Personen, also insgesamt 24 Spieler*innen.

Unsere Meetups finden ein- bis zweimal im Monat statt – je nach Wetter – an einem Samstag- oder Sonntagnachmittag.
