This session explores how to architect AI agents natively in the cloud — covering compute, networking, storage, orchestration, security, observability, and cost governance.

We will break down:

• The cloud infrastructure stack required for AI agents
• GPU vs serverless inference tradeoffs
• Vector databases, memory layers, and retrieval systems
• Agent orchestration patterns (multi-agent, tool-use, event-driven workflows)
• API gateways, identity, and zero-trust design for agents
• Monitoring, evaluation, and cost control for autonomous systems
• Multi-cloud portability considerations

Attendees will leave with a clear reference architecture for building production-ready AI agents across AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.

Vivek Acharya is a technology transformation leader with 18+ years of experience in AI, process automation, blockchain, and enterprise architecture. He currently serves as Director of AI Strategy and Innovation and has led large-scale modernization initiatives across healthcare, public sector, and global enterprises.

He is a Forbes Technology Council member, IEEE CertifAIEd™ AI Ethics Authorized Assessor, published author of 7+ books, and a recognized finalist for the Government Blockchain Association Innovation Award. Vivek has served as a judge for AI hackathons and frequently speaks on agentic AI, governance frameworks, and enterprise AI strategy.

His work focuses on architecting responsible, scalable AI systems that bridge technical innovation with real-world deployment.

Himanshu Patel is a technology enthusiast and evangelist, leading Middleware Technologies at Aventive.
Himanshu's expertise includes building Enterprise-grade platforms for Microservices, Distributed Messaging with Kafka and DevOps with Kubernetes/Docker. Himanshu has implemented several DevOps projects and have build Advanced CI/CD pipelines for build, release and deployment automation, configuration management.

DevSecOps and CloudNative Security Best Practices

DevOps practices are well known but not so much the practice of DevSecOps. Microservices applications have
such a wide attack surface that using manual and traditional security practices is just like putting a square peg in a round hole.
This talk will discuss DevSecOps in a CloudNative environment with an emphasis on Kubernetes' best practices. Demos will accompany the presentation.

Speaker Bio
Damian Igbe is one of the organizers of Kubernetes and CloudNative North Dallas. Damian holds a PhD in Computer science and he is the CTO of Cloud Technology Experts, a Cloud training and Cloud consulting company. Damian obtained his CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) back in 2016 and has been a Microservices/Kubernetes Instructor since then. Damian has a wealth of experience in Kubernetes and the cloud-native ecosystem.
