Descriptions

Deploying an Apache Iceberg Data Lakehouse With Kubernetes
In this talk, we’ll explore how to leverage Kubernetes to deploy and manage a scalable and efficient Apache Iceberg Data Lakehouse. Kubernetes has become the go-to platform for orchestrating containerized applications, and its robust capabilities make it an ideal choice for deploying modern data architectures. Using Dremio’s Helm chart, we’ll demonstrate how to simplify the deployment process, manage resources dynamically, and achieve high availability and fault tolerance for your Iceberg-based lakehouse.
You’ll learn how Kubernetes empowers data teams to seamlessly scale their lakehouse infrastructure to meet growing analytics demands while optimizing resource utilization. We’ll also discuss the benefits of Kubernetes-native features like auto-scaling, rolling updates, and monitoring to maintain performance and reliability. By the end of this session, you’ll have a clear understanding of how to combine Kubernetes with Apache Iceberg and Dremio to build a robust, flexible, and future-ready lakehouse architecture.

Distributed Cloud Computing: Enhancing Privacy with AI-Driven Solutions
As the world becomes increasingly digital, the need for secure and private data processing has never been more pressing. Distributed cloud computing offers a promising solution to this challenge by allowing data to be processed in a decentralized manner, reducing reliance on centralized servers and minimizing the risk of data breaches.
In this session, Rohit will talk about how distributed cloud computing with K8s can be combined with Privacy Enhanced Technologies (PETs) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create a robust and secure data processing framework.
