Dynatrace invites all engineers from Brno & beyond to an evening of stories, insight and practical tips on turning everyday engineering ideas into patented innovations.
Join us for two lightning talks and a panel discussion with Dynatrace engineers who’ve successfully patented their solutions. Learn how the patent process works, discover what’s possible, and walk away with actionable advice to protect and scale your own ideas – maybe even your next patent-worthy line of code.

🎤 Stan Markov (Principal Product Manager at Dynatrace)
Stan is the former CEO and Co-Founder of Runecast Solutions, a global security scale-up acquired by Dynatrace in 2024. With a strong background in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, Stan has a proven track record of transforming complex technologies into practical solutions. Today, Stan continues to drive innovation at Dynatrace, helping shape the future of observability and security.
🎤 Aylin Sali (Principal Security Engineer for AI & Operationalization at Dynatrace)
Aylin is a co-founder and former CTO of Runecast Solutions. Leveraging a strong background in cybersecurity and infrastructure monitoring, Aylin leads the integration of AI use cases and the practical implementation of security operations on the Dynatrace platform
⚡ Stan and Aylin will discuss the story behind the Runecast AI knowledge automation (RAIKA) – patented technology that supercharged the core of Runecast
🎤 Stefan Achleitner (Principal Product Manager, Threat Intelligence at Dynatrace)
Stefan leads the Threat Intelligence Capability at Dynatrace to provide high quality security insights by combining the abilities of AI with traditional approaches. With a PhD in the field of cybersecurity and over 10 patents in the intersection of AI and security, he develops advanced technologies that proactively detect and mitigate threats across complex infrastructures.
⚡ After giving a brief overview of his personal patent journey, Stefan will dive deeper into two of his patents. First one leverages machine learning to automate one of the core parts of Palo Alto Network's firewall. The second patent detects vulnerable software components for Dynatrace threat intelligence.
🎤 Andreas Berger (Product Manager for Dynatrace Application Security)
Andreas is determined to solve the challenges of building large-scale security monitoring systems, which typically accept too many false positives and offer poor user experience. In his free time, Andreas ponders new security approaches and other tech challenges while running or riding his mountain bike in the hills of Upper Austria.
