5 years of Kubernetes in Finland celebration

Hi everyone!

On Monday 17rd of October, starting at 6 pm, we will celebrate the 5th anniversary of our Meetup with a special event. 🎉🎉🎉

The gathering will happen onsite at UpCloud office in Helsinki. This event will be on site only due to the interactive sessions we will have.

Don't forget we have a Swag table!
You can bring your company's or favorite project's swag there for exchange within the group ;)

We will run an Open Space meetup this time around, where you're deciding on the agenda!
We will start out with an introduction to Open Space and then move on to the audience suggesting topics. Everyone gets to write down their suggested topics, one per post-it, and put them up on the whiteboard/wall. We will then vote on the sessions (each attendee gets a limited number of votes). Once the voting is done we will distribute the topics for breakout discussions over the rooms we have available. This way we hope for a really interactive Meetup. There will be one moderator per breakout table. At the end of the Meetup the moderators summarize their results with the rest of the participants.
The schedule will be roughly as follows:

• 18:00 - 18:15 Welcome
• 18:15 - 18:20: Introductory words from the Organizers
• 18:20 - 18:25: Introduction to Open Space
• 18:25 - 18:35: Topic generation
• 18:35 - 18:45: Voting on topics
• 18:45 - 19:10: Food & Drinks and surprise cake 🎉
• 19:10 - 19:45: Session Block 1
• 19:45 - 20:05: Break
• 20:05 - 20:40: Session Block 2
• 20:40 - 21:00 Summary of the breakouts

Note that the event will accommodate local guidelines on Covid-19, and the event will be organised with attendee well being and safety in mind. If you are displaying signs/symptoms of Covid-19 (these typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath), please stay home.

There will be no livestream this time, in order to let everybody discuss in a relaxed manner.
