The Kubernetes Day by UpCloud & Montel Intergalactic

This Kubernetes spectacle is for anyone interested in Kubernetes and its benefits.

The event will be held on the 24th of May starting at 3 pm (EEST/Helsinki time).

The event is a hybrid one, which will be hosted for max. 50 people at UpCloud HQ at Aleksanterinkatu 15 B in Helsinki city center. The event will also be available online for unlimited participants at https://upcloud.zoom.us/j/81331477259.

There will be two presentations, lots of room for questions and conversations, and of course, beer, beverages, and pizza. The language of the event is English.

~3:15 Taking UpCloud Managed K8s for a spin by Lauri Kainulainen, Wouter Van Hemel, and Toni Röyhy from Montel Intergalactic

In this hands-on presentation, Montel’s three Kubernetes experts will showcase how to make a lightning-fast setup on an UpCloud Kubernetes Service.

~4:00 pm: Containers, Kubernetes and Security by Tommi Sohlberg, Red Hat

In this presentation, you will be shown how to secure, identify risks and get visibility to your Kubernetes and Container environments.

~4:30 pm: Drinks, snacks, mingling, and networking.
