Details

This time we will be having two sessions. Below are the details of the two sessions and i will add more details in the coming days.

Session 1: Introduction to Multikernel by Cong Wang, Founder and CEO of Multikernel Technologies - 10 AM to 11 AM

Multikernel is a new way to run Linux that allows multiple fully independent Linux kernels to execute simultaneously on the same machine, without using virtual machines. Each kernel is assigned its own CPU cores, memory and I/O queues, giving applications strong isolation and predictable performance while still maintaining full upstream Linux compatibility. Unlike containers, which share a single kernel, or VMs, which add virtualization overhead, Multikernel provides native-speed execution with clean separation between workloads. Hardware resources can be dynamically reallocated using device-tree overlays, enabling flexible scheduling, zero-downtime kernel updates and improved reliability. This approach offers a practical and familiar Linux experience while solving interference and jitter problems found in multi-tenant or high-load environments.

Session 2: How to build your own Kubernetes Operators using Kubebuilder by Khaja - 11:15 AM to 1:30 PM
