📣 Speaker Announcement
I am excited to be speaking at Hyderabad Open Source Conference on Behind the Scenes of Kubernetes: How the World’s Largest Open Source Project Actually Works
In this session, I will demonstrate how Kubernetes, the world's largest open source project is able to collaborate across the continents, overcoming the barriers in cultures, languages, timezones etc., and still be as robust as it is today. You will realise that it's not all about code contributions as there are many more areas involved in keeping the health and sanity of this much loved open source project.

### 🌐 About the Event

This event is a celebration of collaboration across Hyderabad’s vibrant tech communities, coming together with a shared belief: the future of technology is built better when communities unite.
On 31st January 2026 at Microsoft Building 1, we are bringing multiple grassroots and global tech communities under one roof — Python, GitHub, Kubernetes, Grafana, CNCF, SRE, CAST AI, and Global AI — to create a Unified Platform Community Day.
This is not a typical conference. It’s a community-first experience designed to:

  • Encourage cross-pollination of ideas between diverse tech domains
  • Break silos between developers, platform engineers, SREs, and AI practitioners
  • Foster real conversations, not just talks
  • Enable learning that is practical, hands-on, and immediately applicable

The day kicks off with a visionary keynote that sets the tone for why unified platforms, shared tooling, and community-driven innovation matter more than ever. From there, each session is curated and led by community experts, sharing real-world experiences, lessons learned, and emerging trends.
What makes this event truly special is the collaborative spirit:

  • Communities are not just participating — they are co-creating the agenda
  • Attendees are not passive listeners — they become contributors and collaborators
  • The event culminates in a crowdsourced live hackathon, where ideas turn into action

Whether you are a developer, platform engineer, SRE, cloud architect, AI enthusiast, or community organizer, this event offers a space to learn, connect, and build together.
At its core, this collaboration reflects a simple but powerful idea:

> When communities come together, innovation accelerates.

We invite you to be part of this journey — to learn from each other, build meaningful connections, and shape the next chapter of our tech ecosystem, together.
