Adrian Cockcroft (http://www.battery.com/our-team/member/adrian-cockcroft/), is a technology fellow at Battery Ventures and former director of architecture at Netflix. While at Battery, Adrian has traveled the world talking to IT leaders, advising portfolio companies on technology issues, and assisting with deal sourcing and due diligence. This gives him a unique and valuable industry perspective on technology trends and their industry impacts.

Adrian will discuss strategies, patterns and pathways to perform a gradual migration towards microservices based cloud native applications.

Geoff Arnold, Openstack Architect at Cisco will present integrating the synchronous and asynchronous in cloud-native applications.

Sudhir Tonse and Nitesh Kant, from Netflix's platform team, will discuss the tools and best practices necessary to run microservices at scale.
