Highland Backpacking Trail, Algonquin Park Ontario

Leave Kitchener Friday evening, stay at Mew Lake Campground, Algonquin Park, Friday night.

Start highland trail Saturday morning. The trail is about 35 kilometers. We could do around 15 the first day and the rest the second. Depending on how we feel, we could check out the museum on Sunday.

Cost:

Mew Lake campground Friday. $43 per car-camping site allowing 6 people and three tents.

Backcountry permit for Saturday night. $11.75 per person.
