ets go for a late fall Backpacking trip along the northern part of the Bruce trail from one side to the other of Bruce Peninsula National Park.

This route is famous for its path along the rocky coastline with great views of Georgian Bay.

The plan thus far is to leave one car on each end of the park and to start at the south. We will spend Saturday night at the Storm Haven or High Dump campground depending on how fast we hike. Sunday we will hike to Todermory and drive home.

I estimate the total distance at around 30km. The historical average temperatures hover around 0C.

Also for those who are afraid of the weather I am told there is affordable accommodations in town. One could easy hike for the day and head back in town.

If you are interested in that option don't sign up for this trip, instead please email me through the web site. I will help you with the shuttles but you will be on your own for all other details.
