Bruce Trail Hammock Hike

Join me while I try and channel my inner backcountry hiker along the beautiful Niagara Escarpment. We'll start our overnight trip very close to Brock University and end close to Balls Falls conservation area on Sunday. In the process we'll explore 3 conservation areas (Decew falls, rockway Glen and balls falls) and 1 provincial Park (Short Hills). The pace will be a solid medium but there will be time to shoot photos and smell the budding spring flowers. This will be a low impact, hammock only trip (no tents, ground sleeping options) because there are no official campsites along this section of the Bruce.

Please be aware that this section of the Bruce does utilize roads for part of the hike to connect the parks together so if that's not your thing, please be aware. If you've never seen this section of the Bruce come check it out with me! Cost is $5 which will be donated to Tim for the ongoing management of this awesome community. You are responsible for food/gear but sharing is highly suggested to keep your weight low.
