Alright everyone the weather has finally turned. Turned for the better we now have snow instead of muck.

So here's the plan. Drive up on Wednesday Afternoon and meet at Mew Lake camp ground, or drive up early on Thursday morning. We'll all be meeting at Algonquin's West Gate. There we'll get our back country permits. Then head to the Western Uplands parking lot.

From the Parking lot we'll hike towards Guskewau Lake. At Guskewau we'll break for lunch then Press on to Ramona Lake. Where we will select our campsites for the night.

As we hike down the trail don't forget to take in the beauty of Algonquin in the winter. We'll stop on the trail for food water and pictures. When we get there our campsite for the night will be Maggie Lake North or East depending on our time of arrival.
