Hey Everyone so our lack of stat holiday's has made our government place Family day in the dead of winter. Crappy planing if you ask me. Anyways I give you Summer Family day. This is a wonderful opportunity to show your young ones what is so great about the back country. The age range allowed is 12 to 17 years old. Accompanied by a parent. PFD's must be worn at all times while on the water. That go's for everyone.

Saturday: Wake up around 7- 7:30. Make a quick breakfast and head to the Bayfield Inlet. We will then pack the kayaks and prepare to launch. Before we get under way I will do a demo of what to do if you should you capsize. After the demo is over it's to the boats. Our route will take us through a large cluster of islands. Protecting us from any fury that Georgian Bay may have for us that weekend.

Once at our site set up camp. Then do what we do on our back country trips. gather wood, build the fire pit, go swimming, fishing etc. After supper hope for a clear sky and indulge in some star gazing.
