Long Weekend Killarney Island Hopping/ Exploration

Alright crew here's the plan head up to Killarney Outfitters Friday after work and enjoy a camp fire and sleep either in the back 40 or the front lawn of the outfitters.

Saturday: Wake up make breakfast and head to the Chikanishing creek launch point. Pack our kayaks and paddle out to Le Hayes island. If this site is taken we'll proceed to the fox Islands. Once we land we'll set up camp and relax a little bit before going out to explore.

Sunday: After a good nights sleep and a solid breakfast plan out where to explore next. this is a very flexible trip. Feel free to go exploring or kick back and chill.

Monday: Wake up to our last day at our home away from home and break camp. We'll head to the Chikanishing creek and unload the kayaks. Then can do one of two things.

Depending on the time a hike up The Crack for a commanding view of the Killarney area. The hike usually takes 3 to 3 and a half hours round trip that includes photography time at the peak. of option two make the journey home early.

This to is flexible. people can stay and hike or head home. It up to you. The difficulty level on this trip is beginner to intermediate. The distances to be traveled are not exhausting by any means. the only thing that can rain on our parade is the wind kicking up waves. I'll be watching the weather very closely come the week of the event.

Staying at the outfitters. $5 a person for spending the Friday night.

shuttle drivers. For those that are willing to shuttle people to and from the launch point please pay them $5 for their troubles and gas.
