Winter Tune Up Hike/Snowshoe To Reeds Dump, Lions Head

We may or may not have the weather for said rights this year. Hopefully the weather will cool down and we'll be making snow angles on the beach at Reeds Dump. So without further ado here's the plan.

Saturday: leave the confines of our warm and stuffy home's and make for the Bruce Peninsula. Where at the Richardson Side Trail Parking Lot is where we begin our journey. We'll fallow the Side Trail that meets the Bruce Trail. From there hike/snowshoe toward Reeds Dump. Once at Reeds Dump find a suitable spot to pitch our home away from home. Exploring and shelter making are always welcome. Come night time we can appreciate the lack of light pollution and see constellations not seen in summer. When the time is right it's off to count frosty sheep.

Sunday: Wake up and embrace the chill in the air and make some breakfast. slowly and leisurely pack up camp. Back on the trail around 10:30 - 11:00. Arrive at our starting point and...... Snowball fight!!! "Optional" of course. After some good laughs it's back to the good old grind.
