The trip is now full. If you’re interested in attending, have your name on the Waitlist because if someone has to bail, that’s where I’ll look for a replacement.

This is a beginner-level canoe trip in Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park - our campsite is within an hour’s paddle of the put-in, with no portages on the way. We’ll set up camp Friday, do some exploring Saturday, and return home Sunday.

I’ll be looking for a mix of experienced and inexperienced paddlers. Canoe rentals will be in high demand this summer, so it would be good to secure rentals well in advance.

Camping fees are $45 each, plus $11.50 to park each vehicle. Your RSVP puts you on the Waitlist. I'll contact you to discuss your experience level, then I change your RSVP to ‘Going’. This event is not ‘first come, first served’ - I’ll ensure that canoe-camping newbies are paired with experienced paddlers.
