Backcountry Hiking in Killarney Provincial Park

A-hiking we will go, a-hiking we will go - hi ho Killarney-O, a-hiking we will go. Or so I said last spring as I prepared for a May assault of the LaCloche mountains, but covid closed all the parks, leaving me with nothing to do but put on weight. So we’ll try again! This will be a relaxed-pace, 9-day, counter-clockwise hike of the Silhouette Trail, a 78km loop, for which you'll want to be in good physical condition, and will have had some backcountry camping experience.

Camping and parking costs will be $120 each.

My preference is to take people on this trip who have not hiked this trail. The park permits a maximum of six hikers on interior campsites.
