Lake Superior Sea-kayaking

We’re paddling and crown land camping on Lake Superior, a bucket list item for me. The itinerary is not ambitious - two days out, a rest day at the falls, and two days back - but Lake Superior can be a challenge on any day, and wind and weather conditions can change daily.

This is a trip for experienced sea-kayakers, perhaps six in total. We’ll be launching from the Wawa area the morning of Aug 2, and recovering at our launch point the afternoon of Aug 6. A provincial park campsite is available for the nights of Aug 1 and 6.
