Even More Northern Adventures - August, 2023

This trip is a 9-day/8-night hike of the Lake Superior Coastal Trail from Aug 14-22. This trail is often hiked in 5 or 6 days, but this hike will be at a more relaxed pace. This trail is variously rated as somewhere between moderate (in dry conditions) and difficult (in wet conditions), and definitely requires some backpacking camping experience and being in good physical condition. We’re limited to 3 tents on these campsites, so we’ll sign up 5 or 6 hikers - hammockers will be most welcome.

Trip details and a spreadsheet will be sent by email. No pets on this trip, thanks. Backcountry campsites are modestly priced, so costs will be low.

Upon posting this trip, I tell the Meetup software the trip is full, so your RSVP puts you on the Waitlist and indicates your agreement with the terms of the Co-Participant Understanding. I'll contact you to discuss your experience level and related info, and then I change your RSVP status to ‘Going’.
