Canoe trip Massassauga provincial park
Details
Itinerary:
- friday evening: start at Pete's place, head into Blackstone harbor, set camp
- saturday: 2 possible day trips (it will depend how much the wind is blowing on the larger lakes that day)
- blackstone creek to little blackstone lake, explore the lake, hike up the Baker trail, explore the bays in blackstone harbor. two portages: 60m & 800m
- conger lake, to healey, to moon river bay, to woods bay to blackstone. 3 portages: 405m, 240m, 770m
- sunday: some more paddling, then pack up

Outfitters: Pete's place previously had rentals right at the gate, but right now there is a msg on their website that 'their phone is down'.
alternately: white squall or swift outdoor
weather: dress appropriately acc to the weather forecast for that weekend.

3. i will move you to the 'going' list, until we reach 8ppl
Expectations:
This is just a meetup of fellow people who want to explore the backcountry. It is NOT a guided adventure/travel tour. You are responsible of your own gear, your own safety, navigation, skill level, first aid, physical fitness, emergency contacts, etc, etc.

You are welcome to carpool, make arrangements for paddle partners, or gear sharing. the messaging feature in meetup is quite handy or we can do a whatsapp group closer to the event date.
