Long Weekend Backcountry Canoe Trip: The Massassauga Spider Lake

Itinerary:

Friday Sept 2: Arrive at Oastler Lake Campground anytime after 2pm I have reserved a drive in non-electric campsite #126 we will set up our tents cook dinner and socialize friday night.

Saturday Sept 3: Wake up enjoy a nice breakfast packup and drive to Three Legged Lake access point. Park cars and launch canoes. Paddle accross Three Legged Lake to portage point. Portage 370m (15-20 min hike) to Spider Lake. Launch canoes and paddle across Spider Lake to campsite 6 where we will stay for Sat and Sun nights. Campsite 6 is very nice and we have our own private beach.

Sunday Sept 4: Day trip to wherever you like. Do some paddling or do some hiking. Explore the area you choose where you'd like to go and just come back to campsite 6 to sleep again Sunday night.

Monday Sept 5th: Packup campsite paddle across Spider Lake to portage point. Portage 370m back to Three Legged Lake and paddle back to parking lot. Load cars and drive home.

Cost will be approx $12 per person per night but will depend how many people confirm. We can have a maximum of 9 people first come first served. Email me directly for further info.
