Slowly Drift down the Saugeen River (Beginner Friendly)

I want to take a canoe from Concession 8 to Paisly some weekend over the summer. This would be a super chilled out 5h paddle on Saturday to a cool little river access only camp ground. Then a 2-3h drift to Paisly on Sunday.

The launch is approx 2h from KW. I think we would be on the water around 10am or 11am. At camp for 5pm. In Paisly the next day for 12 where we can grab lunch or just head out home or whatever.

To get there we can park at the outfitters who will drop us, our gear and our canoes to the launch point. Then we just have to paddle downstream back to cars. There's no portages and no rapids worth getting worried about.

This wont be like as difficult as typical KW backpackers canoe trip and it would be great for beginners. Weight and bulk won't matter outside the limits of your canoe. Feel free to bring a cooler, a double burner coleman, enough bottled water for yourself for the weekend and you can eave the dehydrated food at home!:)

We can discuss a date that works for everyone who signs up I guess. sooner the better because the water level will start dropping off towards high summer.
