This trip is an intermediate level trip. The overall distance being covered is about 33.1 KM over 3 days.

Late season weather can be cool at nights. Be prepared for it.
Start at km 29.7 from West Gate

Itinerary:
Friday - travel to Algonquin, get permits at West gate and backpack 5.6 km to the first campsite. Suggested arrival time at the West gate - 2 p.m. First camping: Provoking Lake West.
Saturday: backpacking 14.7 km from our Friday night campsite passing Mosquito Creek and Harness Lake. Camping at Head Lake.
Sunday: backpacking 12.8 km and heading back home after 3 days outside. Arriving in KW (or other places) Sunday evening.

Possibility for for those who can not come on Friday, that they backpack on Saturday towards Head Lake: 2 options - 20.3 km (passing Provoking Lake, Mosquito Creek and Harness Lake) or 12.8 km (passing Faya Lake towards Head Lake).

Money:
The reservation fee is $24 dollars per person for 2 nights (car fee is included always) - payable at West gate when picking reservation.
Those who would come for 1 night only, cost is 11$.
